Season Preview

Season Outlook: No wishbone offense?!! No #21 (Justin Zehel)?!! And, what is this…1…2…3…4
coaches?!! What's going on here?! I assure you these are in fact the Sheboygan County Rebels. New look Sheboygan County Rebels if you will. After an up and down season that once again crashed and burned in a playoff loss to the M&M Timberjacks, the Rebels return re-tooled, revitalized, and ready to re-take the WSFL championship.  Head coach and offensive coordinator, Andy Stopczynski, has left the team after great success since the inception of the team. We wish Coach Stopczynski well as he looks forward to extra free time with his family. Jason Jacobs, a co-founder of the team and long-time player, was asked to return to the Rebels as a head coach and restore the team pride and leadership the team enjoyed in past years. Jason filled out his coaching team with Brian Willoughby (defensive coordinator), Scott Valenstein (offensive
coordinator), and Nate Meyer (assistant head coach) With the coaching changes came many changes, mostly to the offense. Even with the task of installing a new offense, Coach Jacobs still found time for up/downs. Can you believe that….up/downs! Who does up/downs?! Mean S.O.B's that's who. Objective reached - team attitude is ornery and authority established.
