Playoffs - Round 2

Just like a submarine, the Mariners emerged victorious against a tough Kettle Moraine Titans team.  It was a defensive battle and the 13-6 score reflected that.  The 10-0 Sheboygan County Rebels are looking to depth charge (while avoiding the poop deck) the Mariners in Howards Grove this Saturday in the WSFL's 2nd round of playoffs.  The first time these two teams clashed the Rebels hulked their way to a 45-7 win.  With more at stake however, don't think for a second that the game will be a blowout again.

Speaking of "hulk", starting right guard Christopher Cox has been a perfect microcosm for the entire Rebel team this year.  Its obvious that a guy with the last name of "Cox" is just about the toughest person around.  Think of all of the childish name-calling that he had to endure growing up!  The Rebels are tough, just like Cox.  The Rebels have heart, just like Cox.  They are hungry, just like Cox and they are ready to pound just like... Chris (see what I did there?)

Come out and support your undefeated Rebels against the Manitowoc Mariners this Saturday, November 5th (the best day of the year) at 6:00pm.
