Unfathomable anger gripped the Rebels on October 31st of last year. Extreme controversy surrounded the playoff loss to the Washington County Untouchables. In the end, the scoreboard read 35-36. The Untouchables won. "The U" seemed to play the part of the Joker to the Rebels' Batman last season, defeating them in both match-ups. Just like Batman, a dark side exists inside the Rebels. The Rebels' dark side is the most terrifying group of men in the league. Manbeast, Mr. Q, Fettuccine, The Human Missile, Halo and (the most terrifying of them all) Rick Hartman all dwell here; the Rebel defense.
After achieving a week 1 shutout against the Titans (only giving up 115 yards of offense), the defense will be back to attack the Untouchables. Al Capone proved in the 1920s that nobody is untouchable. Defensive Captains Josh Bardon and John Wagner aim to reaffirm this truth along with the rest of the Rebel dark side.
The solidified and jacked up Rebel offense will be ready to show the "Touchables" that they can still throw up a lot of points against their defense. As always, the Rebel special teams will be ready to put on a show. Come out and show your support for the Sheboygan County Rebels in their Bad Blood match-up against the Washington County Untouchables on Sunday, August 7th at 1:00pm.
